Since 2008 The Poets and Pirates have been criss-crossing the nation, performing at fairs, festivals, casinos, clubs, corporate and private events. Bringing the sights and sounds of a Kenny Chesney live concert experience to country music fans everywhere.

With a stage show that captures the energy, heart, and island spirit of Chesney's live performances, this nationally touring act has brought the beach party to venues coast to coast—from the Les Paul Pavilion to Hard Rock Casinos, state fairs, festivals, and concert series nationwide.

More than just a tribute, The Poets and Pirates are a powerhouse group of seasoned pros. Fronted by Shane, a professional tribute artist from South Carolina, the band brings Kenny's music to life with uncanny vocals and undeniable charisma. Named Tribute Artist of the Year in 2016, Shane has released four original studio albums and toured extensively in both tribute and original acts.

Gregg Becker - bass (Cincinnati, OH) brings decades of experience from the corporate and wedding circuit, laying down tight, groove-driven basslines.
